Add a professional
Who sets this up: owner or manager.
Professionals are the people who see clients on the schedule — hairdresser, nail technician, aesthetician, etc.
Step by step
- Menu Team → Professionals.
- Click New professional.
- Fill in:
- Name (required)
- Phone and email (optional, but useful)
- Calendar color — helps identify each professional at a glance
- Default commission (%) — if commission calculation is enabled in settings
- Commission by service — special rates (e.g. coloring 40%); see Commission by service
- Save.
Weekly schedule
After adding the professional, define when they are available:
- In the list, click the calendar icon (Weekly schedule).
- Check the working days and hours. If there is a break, the name is optional — for example, lunch. Name for every break sits at the top of the screen. The notice repeats the name, for example Lunch used on 5 days. If a day already had another name, the screen asks before replacing it. The label Break name (optional) stays on each day. If the day has two breaks, each time can be changed without unchecking the day, the stretch between them shows as Middle stretch, and each one has its own name. That name shows on the list, next to the hours.
- Save.
Before the schedule
Set up the studio hours for the unit first — the professional's schedule can only use times within the studio's operating hours.
Who provides each service
By default, every active professional performs every service. The schedule does not ask for a checked list.
The owner or manager changes this in Settings → General, under Restrict who can perform each service. With that option on, the list appears in Professionals → Services performed and in Services → Who performs. Only then does the schedule offer that procedure to the people who are checked.
On the list, specialty and weekly hours sit under the name. If there is a break, such as lunch, the working hours stay on the first line and the break appears on the line below, with its name when one was entered. Two breaks on the same day show both names. When many services are checked, tap “and N more” to see the rest. Someone with no service checked stands out and can tap Choose services. Someone who already has services checked can tap Change services, with the count in parentheses. If another team tab is open, it says whether the schedule or the services changed, whose, and offers Open the profile. The notice on the profile already says a list is not required; this guide stays here for the steps.
Give system access
A professional who needs to sign in to the panel:
- In the list, use the invite (email) icon.
- They create their own password — you do not set it.
- Until they accept, the badge shows Invite pending.
Full guide: Invite team.
A freelancer who only appears on the schedule without system access can stay without a login — just the professional record is needed.
Absences and days off
To block a specific day (vacation, medical appointment):
- Open the professional → Absences and days off.
- Register the period when they won't be available.
Deactivate or archive
Use Deactivate professional to hide them from the agenda without deleting their history. Archived professionals can be reactivated later.
