Schedule exceptions
Who sets this up: owner or manager.
Use exceptions for days when the salon closes (holiday, renovation) or operates on a special schedule (holiday eve, event).
Types of exception
| Type | When to use |
|---|---|
| Closure | The salon accepts no bookings on that date |
| Holiday | Day with no appointments (Christmas, New Year, etc.) |
| Event | Closure for a specific reason |
| Special hours | Operating at different times than usual |
Import Brazil holidays
- Menu Settings → Schedule exceptions.
- Click Import Brazil holidays.
- Choose the year (and optionally one unit).
- Optional: enable Include optional closing days (Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve).
- Review the list, uncheck what you do not want, and confirm.
Adatis creates national holidays (fixed and movable, such as Carnival and Corpus Christi). If a manual closure already exists on the same day, that holiday is skipped — the rest of the batch continues. Re-importing the same year does not duplicate; it only refreshes imported rows.
To remove only imported holidays for a year: use Remove imported holidays and pick the year. Manual closures are not deleted.
Step by step (single day)
- Menu Settings → Schedule exceptions.
- Click New exception.
- Choose:
- Unit — one branch or all
- Exception type
- Date (and time, for special hours)
- Description — e.g. "Christmas", "Extended hours Black Friday"
- Save.
What changes on the agenda
- Closure / holiday: no time slots available on that date (web and app).
- Special hours: only the specified interval is available for booking.
Filter the list
Use filters by unit, type, origin (manual or imported), and year.
On the agenda
If the grid shows a closed day, use View closing days to open this screen filtered by year.
Tip
From November through February, Adatis reminds you to import the upcoming year (you can dismiss the notice). After importing Christmas, the system asks if you want to set special hours on Christmas Eve (Dec 24).
For a specific professional's day off, use Absences and days off on the professional's record — do not close the whole salon.
